After donating a book to the Camp Mi Casa RV Park book exchange, we toured the Harry S. Truman Farm in Grandview, Missouri. We then camped in Faucett, Missouri, on the property of Kevin and Julie Carver, friends from my days at Skyjack (Their vineyard is shown in the photo). We were joined by Tom and Lois (Tom also worked at Skyjack) and had an awesome evening solving the world's political problems. Kevin and Julie gave us a tour of their most recent business venture, Castle Bridge Event Center (http://castlebridgeeventcenter.com/) a really cool place that hosts everything from weddings to celebrations of life.Thanks Kevin and Julie for your amazing hospitality! We then headed north to Omaha. Our reserved campsite had been flooded out by the Missouri River, so they relocated us to a better place nearby. A couple of fellow campers were interested in the book, so we gave them copies.
