Day 79: Arches National Park

Utah just keeps getting nicer and nicer. Today, we spent our time hiking through Arches National Park. On taking another solo "shortcut" I soon found myself misplaced in the desert in a maze of canyons and running low on water. I wasn't scared until I came across what I suspected (by examining surrounding tracks) to be a cougar's den. Upon researching (once we returned to the trailer) I now suspect it was just a coyote den, but I sure got my adrenaline rush for the day. I've learned that fear is a relatively decent antidote for thirst :)
