Day 58: Clear Lake, CA

When you pay $16.50 for a campsite, you arrive with low expectations and sometimes end up being very pleasantly surprised. Our site near Northport on Clear Lake ended up giving us one of the most scenic vistas to date. From the comfort of our trailer we could watch ospreys and herons fishing while a variety of other nearby birds entertained us with their antics. We were also able to give a book to an interested camper at our previous site in the morning.
