Our Mennonite Your Way hostess, Dr. Anne Turner set us up with full RV hookups, chatted with us for a while, and then suggested some interesting tourist destinations. We took a long hike in the Francis Marion National Forest and came across some of the largest pine cones we have ever seen. (F. Marion was the guy Mel Gibson played in "The Patriot" and the forest is one of the places he hid from the British during the Revolutionary War). We then drove east to go dip our toes in the ocean. Enjoyed another beautiful part of the country.
