Happy Birthday Rosie! We started the day with a scenic drive through the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia. What was supposed to have been a five hour drive turned into eight because of our many stops to take hikes and photos. Didn't take long to start smoking the brakes on the steep hills. Now know to gear down at the START of every grade over 5%. Finished the evening by celebrating Rose's birthday at a restaurant in Statesville, North Carolina. Pretty decent day, and it's finally getting warmer!
