We spent a good part of the day touring the USS Lexington, the famous aircraft carrier that participated in so many Pacific War battles. The ship is so large that when you're looking at the on-board exhibits you often get the feeling that you're touring some historic battlefield, forgetting that you're on this "floating city". I can't imagine what it's like being on a much larger, modern, nuclear version. US naval power is such an awesome thing.
