This was our last day at Quintana Beach, TX. After finishing most of our administrative work, we hiked through a local bird sanctuary. The volunteer guide that showed us around said that it's not unusual to spot over 80 species of migratory birds here in a single day. We weren't quite that lucky but enjoyed our walk before heading back to camp to barbecue the red snapper we bought at the local fresh fish store. This place definitely makes it to onto our return-to list.
