Day 2: Sutton, West Virginia

We left a copy of The Proverbs Management Handbook with the proprietors of Camp Wilhelm where we stayed in Pennsylvania last night. The new owners recently purchased the campground in an estate sale and are bravely tackling all sorts of new challenges.

We also donated a book to Covenant Christian School in Morgantown, West Virginia. We took a very sketchy, winding, narrow road with steep hills to get there.

Note to anyone who might be tempted to do the same while pulling a travel trailer: Narrow roads have no shoulders. What looks like shoulders are actually deep ditches that are filled with leaves and twigs and other things that will not support the weight of a truck. Thanks to God and the genius who invented 4-wheel drive we escaped with nothing more than disapproving looks from passers-by and a bit of damaged pride. Should have took a picture, but we were too freaked out.
