Day 12: Southern Florida

Took Alligator Alley through the Everglades and saw lots of the big, stealthy reptiles - a dozen at a time in one location! Definitely not a place where you want to tip a kayak. Stopped by the large McGregor Baptist Church campus and donated a book to their library. Also donated a book to the library at the KOA on Pine Island, where we are staying. Hiked around the seaside village of Matlacha, had an ice cream and then headed back for a swim in the pool. Another fantastic day in Paradise.
